How do its work?

Infrared thermometers use the difference between the infrared rays coming off an object and ones in the surrounding environment as a way to determine the object’s surface temperature. The thermopile then converts the infrared radiation into heat and then into electricity. The resulting amount of electricity is measured and used to calculate the heat of the surface object being measured.
